The 2014/15 Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings films from the 39th annual Banff Mountain Film Festival to about 400 communities & 40 countries around the world. From an exploration of remote landscapes and mountain cultures to adrenaline-fueled action sports, films in this year’s world tour are sure to captivate and amaze the explorer within you.

Join UCSC Recreation when the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to Santa Cruz, at the Rio Theatre on Feb. 20, 21, 22 at 7 pm. Different films will be shown each night.

Films will be listed 3 - 4 weeks prior to the event

Benefits the UCSC Wilderness Orientation Scholarship Fund. This fund provides full and half scholarships to dozens of first-year students, affording them the chance to experience the shared magic of the wilderness before beginning life at UCSC.
