For the fall 2024 quarter the Athletics & Recreation Department will reimburse up to 25 currently enrolled students up to $500 each who complete a basic/open water SCUBA certification. The course may be taken one time with any SCUBA dive shop of their choice in the state of California. This reimbursement will be approved for SCUBA course fees from a certifying agency approved by WRSTC (such as NAUI, PADI, SDI, or SSI), and dive gear rental only.
In order to qualify for reimbursement the course and forms must be fully completed between the first and last day of the quarter. The fall quarter begins on Thursday, September 26th and ends on Friday, December 6th. The reimbursements will be issued on a first come first served basis, and the deadline to initiate a reimbursement is Friday, December 6th, 2024.
To initiate reimbursement please complete the Payee Setup 204 form and the Direct Payment form; links and instructions are below. Please note once you have started these processes you will need to log into DocuSign to complete the forms.
